Mark boasts over three decades of practical field work involving water and wastewater utility planning and design and water policy throughout Arizona. His extensive professional experience includes work with large municipal and state governments, the mining industry, private development, and industrial clients. Mark oversees the marketing and development of water and wastewater master planning and treatment, water resources and water policy, major infrastructure development and design, and energy efficiency analysis for municipal, mining, and private development clients.
Mark currently serves as a Member of the Central Arizona Project (CAP) Board of Directors, serving on the Finance, Audit and Power committee. He is the Vice Chairman for Tucson Water’s Citizen Water Advisory Committee, a member of the Pima County Regional Wastewater Reclamation Advisory Committee (past Chair), and a Citizen Forum Board member for the US International Boundary and Water Commission. He is also an International Volunteer for the Water for People World Water Corps, working in South and Central America and Africa.
Mark earned a BS in Civil Engineering from University of Arizona and Master in Business Administration at University of Arizona.
