Scholarships

Since opening our doors in 1997, WestLand has grown from a handful of employees to a diverse group of over 250 professionals that offer a wide-range of experience and skills. We foster a family environment where employees are valued and respected. Qualified scientists, water and wastewater engineers, archaeologists, biologists, environmental planners, permitting specialists, landscape architects and construction inspection staff are part of the WestLand team.

WestLand and our DEI committee is committed to developing and supporting the next generation of scientists, engineers, archaeologists, landscape architects, and geospatial analysts. The recipient(s) of this scholarship will receive funds to support their education and will have the opportunity to make lasting connections with industry-leading professionals in the western United States. In addition to the scholarship award, the recipient(s) will be invited to visit one of WestLand’s offices across the western United States and meet with the WestLand Department Director or Discipline Service Lead most relevant to the recipient’s field of study and desired career path.  Up to five scholarships of at least $2,000 each will be awarded.

Applications will be reviewed by a select group of WestLand staff representing the broad range of services we offer. Scholarships for award will be nominated by this group and recipients notified within 15 days of close of application window.

Applications will close at midnight on October 15th, 2024.
