Jennifer has 21 years of archaeological fieldwork and research experience and 12 years of experience in project management. Her work has included the management of more than 250 cultural resource compliance projects throughout Washington State. Jennifer has planned, surveyed, excavated, and written reports for several survey, testing, data recovery, and monitoring projects throughout Washington. She is a subject matter expert in National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) Section 106, the Washington State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA), and Executive Order (GEO) 21-02 compliance. Joining WestLand in 2021 as the Director of Cultural Resources for the Western Region, Jennifer regularly coordinates with clients, Tribes, and agencies and is skilled in the excavation and analysis of human remains, supervisory archaeological fieldwork, archival research for Historic period sites, and technical writing. Her typical duties include technical review of documents, day-to-day monitoring of budgets and schedules, and providing logistical support for field projects.
Jennifer received her B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Arizona in 2002 and her MSc with Distinction in Human Osteology form the University of Bradford in 2005.
