Joe Cliett

Joe brings over 20 years of experience in the engineering field to his role as Department Director. Joe’s expertise centers around the mining sector, where he has worked in several leadership capacities, focusing on improved reliability, safety, and operability. His comprehensive professional experience includes systems design, material selection, hydraulic analysis, computer modeling, pump selection, procurement support, construction support and management, system commissioning, system start-up, and operator training. He has worked both on mining projects as a consulting engineering representative and with projects execution for a mining company specializing in improving plant operation and seamless project integration with operating systems. He has served as Project Manager and Group Lead on many hydraulic system projects including dewatering systems, wellfields, slurry transport systems and water distribution systems. Joe has extensive experience working with Grupo Mexico, Yamana Gold, Oceana Gold, has worked on projects at Sierrita, Miami, Tyrone, and Chino for Freeport-McMoran and Carlota under ownership of Quadra Mining.
