WestLand developed a system-wide water balance and water process flow diagram for the Ray Mine Complex located near Kearny, in Pinal County, Arizona. The services provided included data collection and organization, system evaluation, development of figures, and creation of a water balance model. The model provides a wholistic view of water transfer throughout the operation and is based on meter data, environmental conditions, calculations based on manual parameters, and remaining balance summations. The model can be used to predict the effect of a variety of operational or external circumstance and to project future flow volumes.
