WestLand is pleased to introduce our two newest Associates, Amanda Best and Rebecca Lowy. These dynamic individuals are the most recent additions to the ownership team at WestLand, and we are thrilled to have them as shareholders in the firm.
Amanda joined WestLand in 2001 and has managed numerous large-scale projects with various environmental permitting needs. She is a senior environmental specialist and project manager with more than 16 years of experience in providing permitting support for mining, mining exploration, residential and commercial development, and utility infrastructure projects. Her special expertise lies in Clean Water Act Section 404 compliance, National Environmental Policy Act compliance, Endangered Species Act compliance, mining exploration permitting compliance, municipal environmental policy compliance, riparian habitat evaluation, and various other environmental research and regulatory compliance tasks.
Rebecca also started at WestLand in 2001. She is our IT Director and has over 16 years of experience in program management, project management, and in the implementation of state-of-the-art information solutions facilitating company growth and project implementation. She has expertise in managing projects within information systems, telecommunications and CAD/GIS environments. She can bridge technology and business goals to provide productive business solutions and has demonstrated success in leading and mentoring teams in a multi-disciplinary environment to maximize levels of productivity.
