In a bustling market and with a growing client list, WestLand Resources welcomes Paul Tremel as their new Chief Operating Officer. His impressive 31-years of progressive leadership positions at HDR, the international engineering and construction firm cements his standing as an industry authority. Among his many accomplishments at HDR is the South Mountain Freeway design and construction; he contributed to its conceptual design, final design, added professional resources and project managed various stages of its construction.
Paul brings an impressive track record of success and commitment to excellence to the executive office, but he also employs a “Family First” attitude in his personal and professional lives, which translates to additional value to the community, environment and end-users.
“My conversation with Jim Tress, (CEO) started over a polite lunch with no expectations,” explains Paul. “The more I learned about WestLand Resources, the more I wanted to work there.”
The firm’s practice of values-based decision-making, which considers factors beyond profit, aligns with Paul’s “Family First” commitment. He respects the practice of making decisions based on company values — Believing in People, Respect, Excellence Always, Achieving and Adopting and Anticipating, and Doing the Right Thing.
“Happy and fulfilled consultants are the key to hitting our clients’ goals consistently,” he says. “When our people are happy and their careers are growing, their ability to serve our clients also grows.”
“On behalf of our entire organization, I’d like to welcome Paul to WestLand Resources,” said James A. Tress, Jr. CEO and President. “We are confident in Paul’s ability to lead the organization in delivering the best outcomes for our clients, the community and the end-user.”
